ABOUT US NATURE ARTEFACT

How it all began…

My name is Hannah Smith and I have been creating Jewellery since 1994, studying and gaining a HND and a Ba Hons in 1998.

I grew up in the wilds of Anglesey roaming for miles as a youngster with cows and butterflies for company. This forged my links to nature. I spent more time digging up interesting artefacts than playing with dolls.

I have always made ‘things’ and have consistently had a propensity towards shiny, intricate objects.

I now hand make precious metal jewellery on a boat on the waters of the Midlands UK. We have solar panels and a wind turbine, all attempts are made to make as Eco friendly Jewellery as possible.

My designs are based around a theme or narrative, each range has a story and are inspired by Nature or found/historical Artefacts.

Each piece is handcrafted in a combination of precious metals and gemstones using traditional techniques to create something truly unique.

Recycled silver and gold items are often used – there is no such thing as waste with silver or gold and everyday objects can have a beauty of their own.

Hannah Silversmith portrays high quality handmade jewellery that you recognize to be original at a glance.

A one-off bespoke piece can be commissioned, please see Commissions page.

All products comply with Assay Office Hallmarking regulations.

Customer details will be kept private and will not be passed on to third parties.
